On August 13-14, a team of Twelve competitors (Mike Rethmeyer, Keith Lynn, John Palos, Kalum K., Luke Mulch, Reid M., Tony Byrd, Orlando Sanders, Kaue Damasceno, Brendon Cook, Bart Johnson, Jaxon L. and Josh Crago) from BJJ Lifestyle Academy went to compete in the most prestigious Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament in the Mid-West of the USA, the 2016 IBJJF (International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation) Chicago Summer International Open Championship. The team won a total of 16 medals (9 Gold, 4 Silver and 3 Bronze). They trained hard, had a lot of strategic guidance from the coaches and the results spoke for themselves! Outstanding!!
